In June Nat Barnes represented the QLD open state rugby league team. Religious Rugby League player Nat Barnes started working with me in January 2006 with the goal of getting BIGGER, FASTER, STRONGER in order to get a shot at the new ARL franchise the Gold Coast Titans Rugby League club. Nat improved his maximal strength in all key performance indicator lifts. His speed, explosiveness, agility and power all improved/remarkably significantly. Nat continues to get faster, stronger, leaner and more explosive throughout the season using Ultimate Sports Performance’s unique training methods.

June – Joe’s athletes dominate at National AFL titles:

June saw 5 members of the PIT crew represent QLD at the under 18 national AFL championships in Victoria under the watchful eye of AFL scouts.

Taury Zimmer, Fraser Pope, Kurt Tippett, Haydyn Kiel and Dane Eaton superior strength and conditioning ensured their selection. Tippett’s upper body marking strength and dominance in the packs as well as Kiels explosiveness and Taury Zimmer who consistently beat his opponents caught the eye of AFL scouts. Pope and Eatons nuggetty and explosive frames were put to good use and they were quick and explosive around the packs.

In July PBC AFL won the QLD Lions cup:

PBC AFL sports excellence programs are continuing to evolve and grow under the expertise of the specialist strength and conditioning services provided by Ultimate Sports Performance.

The junior and senior sides both won the QLD State Cup and were presented with the state champions trophy. According to coach Makay the difference was in the physical conditioning of the teams. Again a tribute to the coaches and the athletes completing the assigned work to the appropriate levels
