There’s no better feeling or prouder moment than sitting back watching one of the junior athletes that you’ve coached, make his senior debut and play his first professional game. On the weekend I was fortunate enough to witness Big Broc McCauleys first game for the Brisbane Lions.
As a coach I witnessed first hand the countless hours he spent training, the discipline, the focus the commitment and the courage to persue his goals and dreams even though he was overlooked 4 times in AFL Draft-as I wrote back in 2010, The Brisbane Lions supporters should be very happy with the talented Big Man and would have been impressed with what they saw during last weekends game!
