As a coach or an athlete it’s important to know if you’re overtrained. One of the easiest, cheapest and simplest ways to determine if you’re overtrained is through measuring grip strength with a dynamometer. I credit former Australian Olympic Weight Lifting Coach Lyn Jones for sharing this tip with me many years ago.
